So whats all this about Affiliate Marketing?

I have looked at tons of programmes on this over the past 12 months. I have learnt a lot. A year ago, I could hardly cut and paste let alone get a domain name, get a website and get onto some affiliate programmes. Do you know what they are? I didn’t when I first ventured into this. Basically you become an affiliate for a product or programme something like a middle man (or woman), selling someone else’s products for a commission.
How do you go about finding the right affiliate programme? Its a bit of a minefield out there and there are loads of things around. There are also systems that I have come to realise you have to have in place before you can start making any money online.
I can say that there appear to constant themes throughout my “investigations” into affiliate marketing and affiliate programmes but at the end of the day it boils down to getting good content and great support. I am based in the UK and the support on most of the programmes has been from USA. I just didn’t realise how long that 8 or 9 hour gap can be when your “support” is asleep on the other side of the world. You do need to check this. If its 24 hour support then it shouldn’t be an issue but believe me if you are stuck somewhere in cyberspace and you cant get an answer until you have been asleep for 8 hours (by which stage you will have forgotten where you were up to ) then it’s a problem.
I have looked at a number of programmes from Michael Cheyney over the last few months and have bought a number. They have given me great content and fantastic support. Ok I know he is from the UK which is unusual in this field but his products have not been a let down.
I am leaning about affiliate marketing and I am a long way down that line, thankfully but I can still remember the bits that drove me bonkers and the bits I found challenging. I will be sharing those with you over the next few weeks.

I do think that this is one of the better products on affiliate marketing if you are starting out. Be warned though, there is a lot of valuable information in there but you will need to devote some time and energy to this, there is no magic pill. If you have found one could you let me know?
