Making Money Online

Over the past couple of weeks,I have been posting about making money online. I have also been bogged down looking at affiliate marketing the last couple of weeks. If I ever get to grips with it I will post some hints and tips on here! Making money isnt easy whatever you might read but I hope that these last posts and the next few will give you some pointers.
I think it might be useful for me to recap the last few postings. You might be looking for a niche, I have suggested a number of routes you might want to look at. Researching keywords, visiting forums, looking at blogs in your potential market, seeing what articles have been written about your potentialsubject and visiting youtube to see what your potential competition is up to.
This is all important preparatory stuff. I made the misake of launching staight in, but I really think it will help you if you take a step back and perhaps do a bit more research. It can be bit of a pain if you are champing at the bit to get started but if you have a plan of action, you will actually save time in the long run.
So what other avenues can you explore to see who and what is in your potential market/s?
You will want to look at the competition.
Unless you have really found a new niche, there is going to be competition. You need to know what they are doing and hopefully do it better. At its basic level, you can type a few words in Google and see what the competition is doing based on who is advertising at that particular time. I would suggest that you start looking at who is advertising and keep an eye on them over the next few weeks, thats those for your main keywords. See what comes and goes and what seems to work and what doesnt. Do that even if you have no intention of doing any pay per click advertising in the future. Its an excellent way of keeping an eye on your potential market.
