Blogging To An Early Grave

I started blogging about 12 months ago. I had an earlier blog than this one. What have I learnt? Well they are simple to set up with a bit of know how but they are a bit like a small child, very demanding.
If you are thinking of blogging, what should you be thinking of before you set off? I suppose you need to think why you are blogging? If like me you are learning the ropes of internet marketing, writing posts regularly is a great discipline and also useful as an aide memoir. I had to reset my computer recently (or rather a nice computer man did ) and I lost all my email addresses? Could I remember how to set them up again, er no, but i did remember a post I had done some time ago giving easy to follow directions. I followed them and you know what, they worked!
You might also be thinking just using a blog as a diary and thats fine as well. I dont think there are any hard and fast rules on this but I guess youhave to decide what it is, why you are doing it and how often you want to post before you start.
I will be posting a bit over the next few days to show you how to start a blog and what to do with it once you have one. I have learnt by trial and error, learn from my mistakes!
Anyway am off tomorrow to a wine and food fair. Sounds like my idea of heaven.
