Blogging Again

One of the most popular blogging applications is Wordpress. Its free and there is a lot of helpful information available with it.
If you are seriously looking to get into blogging then Wordpress is the way to go. You will have already have looked at the FTP side of things and once you have got some FTP software either free or paid for (have a look at coffeecup,its a paid for service but there are free trials) you can start to look at Wordpress.
As I have already mentioned, you have a space on your hosting account called yourdomain.com. That is the domain you will have already purchased. You now need to fill that space with the files that you get from wordpress. So what do you do?
Well download wordpress of course! If you visit the site,the download button is pretty obvious. Download it to that download folder I advised you to set up. Once its downloaded,you then need to unzip it. If you are using windows, you will see that the files have downloaded, and if you look to the left,you will see something that says “extract all files” click on that and that sets up a wizard which will unzip the file. If you dont have that then you can download something called WINZIP, which is free and allows you to extract or unzip the files.
So once you have the FTP software and the wordpress software downloaded, you are ready to rock and roll. Still some things to do though.
