Affiliate Funnel System is due on the market at the end of March. Its written by Saj P a successful marketeer in his own right and the producer of a number of great products. I am going to start reviewing a number of these new products over the coming weeks and months.

I have bought plenty over he last couple of years and I have a good idea what provides value for money and which may help you make money!

What is Affiliate Funnel System?

AffiliateFunnelSystem in Five Modules:
Module One: Total Niche Marketing Overview

Module one focuses on niche marketing. This is the basis of succesful affilaite marketing and making money online. If you get this wrong, you may never make any money, get it right and you can make tons with taking time and giving it some energy.
Theres some great advice on how ot find the right products to promote and where to find them and fantastic advice on what Saj the producer of this product, calls Total Market Research” and demographic research which is becoming increasingly important.

.
Module Two: Landing Page. Improving Conversion

Module two focuses on how to effectively use landing pages, including

* Review Pages
* Presell Pages
* Optin Pages

Very important information when marketing online today . Module 5 also gives some great templates.

Module Three: is called Opening the Valve

Thats driving highly targeted traffic to your webpages and ultimately to the products and a sale. There is afocus on PPC but also other methods.

Module Four: Launch Funnel

This is the launching of the Affiliate Funnel System and how the funnel and the valves work together.

Module Five: The Master Campaign Swipe Funnel
This is the Daddy of the system. You get 3 plug and play campaign funnels in moneymaking markets, including sales pages, ads, give away products and emails. The whole thing and much more. This is powerful stuff and in trainged hands could be dynamite!

This is a tremendous product. There are flaws as there are with all of these products and the newbie going straight to module 5 without putting the prep work in first may come a cropper but all in all its going to help a lot of people make a lot of money.

Does this mean this product is cmpletely flawed? Not at all. There is a lot of information to digest here but tons of helpful videos, pdfs and structured tutorials will help many people make their first dollar online.

This is a no risk product so if you arent satisfied, you can get your money back within the first 60 days which should give you plenty of time to have a good look at it and start putting some of the help into practice.Like anything else taking action is the only way forward.

Affiliate Funnel System will be available at the end of March.

I have been online for around 12 months now but seriously trying to make some money for around a month! I have put a lot of time and energy and money into trying to develop a new career and I have learnt a hell of a lot. I am seriously now putting that into practice and starting my first ecommerce store which should be up and running in the next 2 weeks.

So what have I learnt? That there is no easy way to so this. It doesn’t happen overnight and whilst you can do it whilst still in your pyjamas (indeed I frequently do), that doesn’t mean that you will make any money instantly.

I have been blogging for a few months now.I have a number of blogs that are in different areas and some are simple blogs without proper domains and some like this have their own domain that can be managed and over which I have control. I haven’t explored all the themes and plugins that can help run a blog more efficiently and make it look nicer but that’s on the list of things to do and I will report back on that.

Blogging then, flavour of the year or a has been? I have no doubt at all blogging is here to stay and its use will only increase.

If you are thinking of starting a blog then, what should you be thinking before you start. These are my 3 top things to bear in mind for 2009. Think seriously now!

1.Breadth of subject matter

Will the subject you’re considering starting a blog about be lend itself to continuing into the long term?

There are two extremes when it comes to starting a blog. The first is choosing a topic that is so broad that it becomes totally overdemanding and exhausting to maintain and the second is choosing one that is so narrow that after just a few posts the blogger runs out of things to say.

A simple way of finding out whether your topic is wide enough is to look at Google News or Google trends and see what the market is like. Look particularly for the frequency of news on the topic. This will give you an indication of whether there are stories breaking on the topic that you can catapult onto your blog

Another way is to simply brainstorm what posts you could write on the topic. Simply put down on paper as long a list of post titles as you can as quickly as possible. If after 10 minutes you only have a handful of potential post ideas you might want to either widen your topic or find another one.

2. How are your Energy Levels

Does the topic engage you? Are you motivated enough to write about it for the long term?

I have already made this mistake but in my defence, I was doing it while on a course I was following. I could understand that from a practical point of view, it was necessary to do it that way, I now have a blog in a field (not this one I hasten to add) I have no real interest in and it will have to die because I cannot see me writing on it into the long term.

Don’t fool yourself that it will be easy to maintain a blog in a subject that you have little interest in, particularly if you are thinking of trying to make money

Ask yourself these 3 questions:

Can you honestly see yourself writing on the topic in 2 or more years time?

Is the topic one that you’re proud and interested to be covering?

Do you want to be known as an expert on this topic?

This isn’t to say that you cant start blogs in subjects you have no interest in but if you ask yourself those questions you can work out your motivations which is an important first step before you start on building what you hope will be a sustainable blog.

If you’re not interested in your topic your potential readers may this and the chances of success will fall. That isn’t to say that you can develop an interest, indeed I would be lying if I said that I had an overwhelming interest in blogs or internet marketing when I started this process, but now I am absolutely hooked! I love it even thought I haven’t made tons of money, I KNOW I will make a living at this. I am absolutely convinced now.

From what I have seen, successful blogs are almost always long term efforts and most do not really begin to see significant ’success’ for 12 or more months. They take a significant investment of time and energy and I guess all I’m saying is that it’s worth considering if the topic is something that you want to invest your life into for such a significant amount of time.

3. Time Calculation

How much time do you have? Do you have time for this blog?

Different blogs will demand different levels of time from their blogger depending upon a combination of numerous factors: Here are just 2 to bear in mind

Subject Matter

Some are more dynamic than others in terms of how often they have to be updated, what sort of writings they might stimulate and what if any traffic they bring to the blog, all of which will concentrate your mind on how much attention you will need to give to the blog

Style

-Your style of writing will obviously has an impact upon the time it takes to maintain your blog. For example if you write a lot of longer original posts it takes significant time to write them. If you write in an engaging way that invites feedback the time needed to maintain comments sections increases. If you try and write original content every day, it can take up a lot of time

Before you start a new blog do a time calculation on your life. What spare time do you have currently? Is there any way you can free up more time for blogging? What upcoming life events do you have and how will these impact your spare time? Do you work full time? If so finding time can be particularly challenging.

Doing a time calculation is especially important if you’re considering starting multiple blogs at once. That is not something I would recommend. If you are anxious to get going as soon as possible, well I can understand that imperative but you need to calculate how much time that will take. I recommend that you start one, assess how much time it takes over the next month and in that way you will work out how many you can maintain and hopefully do a couple well rather than multiple ones poorly.

If you own, run and maintain an internet based business or a site you will know you need to write articles. It’s as simple as that. Regular users of the internet know that as well. Articles are there to provide information, help and knowledge but for the website owner or blogger they have a much more important function.

Articles can move a site up the search engine rankings for particular keywords and phrases. The dual function is that they provide content for your site and help to build trust and confidence in the visitor. They can increase visitors to a site and that in itself can have benefits if that site is a promotional tool for selling products or building a list.

The problem is that article writing can be time consuming and an awful lot of people don’t like to write. I do but there are lots of people who don’t. So what do you do if you don’t like writing?

Well you could copy someone else’s work but that is a no no. There is no excuse for plagiarism. It’s dishonest and morally and ethically wrong. You can copy someone else but only if you copy the whole article in full and include the resource or bio box as well. That gives credit to the original writer and you can sleep easy.

So what other ways are there to write articles?

There are free articles in the public domain. Just look in Google. There is no problem with copyright but the problem with simply lifting them is that because they are freely available, others have gone before! You can however knock them around, edit them, put relevant keywords in and so on. You might find this easier than starting from scratch and very often by the time you have finished with it, you will have a unique article. It is often better than starting with a blank page.

If you have some spare funds you might want to invest in getting some articles written for you. I have to say I have had a mixed experience with this. You may find that you have to try a few freelance writers until you find one that “fits” There are many sites catering for this, such as elance and rentacoder.

Hunt around and I will see you tomorrow with some tips on using freelancers

Til next time

Been very caught up learning loads of new stuff on a couple of courses (more later) and I am looking at article marketing which involves writing high-quality articles related to the product being promoted. The articles are then submitted to article directories, social networks, forums, and blogs. The articles contain active links, usually placed within an author or bio box, going back to the original website. Thus, backlinks are increased, which is the objective for most other campaigns. There are in fact hundreds of article directories on the internet, the main one being EzineArticles. Submitting a well written article to lots of different directories can easily pay off.

Article marketing is a commonly used form of online marketing. It enables online businesses to subtly but effectively sell their products and services.

Article marketing plays a vital role in search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns. The generation of backlinks helps boost the ranking of the original websites on major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Keyword research and insertion is also employed by advertisers to increase website visitors and in turn, more buyers and profit.

Good articles build a business’ credibility and establish visitor loyalty. Loyal visitors recommend products they trust and consumers listen to people they trust. When you write a good article, then you have a better chance of making people buy from you in theory.

Article marketing need not be hard, but it does take some work. To start however, if you have a few blog posts on a particular topic, you can combine them, knock them around a bit and produce an article relatively easily. Make a start today, its a good introduction to writing and starting to create backlinks, which as I am finding is the name of the game in internet marketing.

I have been very bad at posting recently due to work and other comittments but I am starting up again and hope you will bear with me as I have loads to report!

Till next time

I dont know if you have a blog but whether you have or not, there will come a time when you will think of quitting,I know I have on a number of occasions. Its hard work and there is no getting away from it. It can be tough to keep motivated.

There are huge numbers of blogs out in the blogosphere, many of them fizzle out after a few months, why? I think its a sense of disappointment,.After all there are so many “gurus” out there suggesting that money can be made in a matter of moments and before you have had your breakfast, Iit can be very disenchanting to find it aint like that at all (unless you are very lucky) Like anything else,it requires momentum to get it going and getting to that critical mass can take a while.

I had been getting a bit cheesed off recently so I dug around for some inspiration and then sat back and cogitated (something I am getting pretty good at). This is what I came up with to help me and who knows it might help you.

Everyone, yes everyone feels like this at some stage or at many stages in their life, whether it be blogging or general life. We can all wake up in a morning and just feel apathetic and lazy but sometimes it can get worse than that, it can be a feeling of futility and being powerless to do anything about it. It can be very easy to think of packing it all in.

Feelings of despair can strike at any time. So can a lack of motivation, its normal. I am no more able to control those feelings than anyone else and lots of people give up when these feelings threaten to overwhelm them.

Feelings of jealousy. You may see what others are doing and their successes and feel dejected that, despite all your hard work, you are “failing”. I think it is very difficult to keep upbeat all the time, particularly when you come across others who appear to be getting the success that you think should be yours. I keep going by taking inspiration from this. Yes I can feel p*****d off when I see others succeeding but I have learnt to keep those feelings in check now. If I see someone being successful then I know that I can be too. I just have to keep plugging away.

the battle with self doubt. This is a biggie! You are trying to get a business going on the internet and have to put up with your own doubts and well to be frank, the pitying looks you might get from friends and possible family. It can be hard to keep going in the face of that.

So what can you do ot overcome these feelings of apathy, despair, jealousy? I think you have to have self belief. I started an offlien business many years ago and the first two years were so hard and so expensive, it pains me even now to think of those meeting with the bank manager, the dimly lit room, the bare lightbulb. I am not joking, the bank manager sat in a half light, behind a desk, barely spoke to me but spoke at me through my accountant, a chap I had taken along for moral support. I was not allowed to take anything but the bare minimum for months, had to chose whether to pay my staff or the taxman (the staff obviously but boy that taxman was vicious!) and had to sack the cleaner which meant that I waited until the staff went home, then I cleaned the toilets. Happy times! But the point I am trying to make is that I was determined to make a go of it, i had had enough of employers, I wanted this for myself. 2 years later I was making considerable amounts of money and that bank manager had been moved by way of demotion. You have to have self belief, know that you are going to make it and work hard to keep moving forward.

What can you do to keep that momentum? If I am feeling as though its all going wrong and I cannot get anywhere, I focus on creating some content. Just writing helps me to focus, even if its gobbledygook.iknow that if I create something and concentrate on getting on with it, it takes me out of my self and any tendency to brood.

It can be difficult but there is no doubt that if you take some action, you will keep moving forward. If you lie in bed all day, you will feel more tired. Taking some action is a bit like taking exercise, if you concentrate on output, you will avoid feelings of negativity. If you give into negativity, then you wont achieve anything. I find that on the days I have been unable to motivate myself to get out of bed, I can feel even more tired and negative as a result.

If you are blogging or thinking of starting, I really do think that you need to have patience and dedication. You have to learn to take enjoyment form every small success and try not to get despondent at your failures.

I read somewhere that it is consistent effort based on a solid belief in an outcome that will get you there. If you continue to take action and dont give up too easily you will succeed and so will I!

I thought this was an interesting article and in my last post, I did say that i have been reading around this subject a lot recently. This one appealed to me because I just couldnt get my head around the horseshoe theory!

Is it possible to make money with a blog?

Let me just start with, unless you have horseshoes up your butt, you are not going to make money off your blog right away. I’m not saying it’s not possible, you might find a niche with no competition and high traffic…but the odds are against you.

Most people who start a blog, give up quickly. They either never initally launch it or worse, because it doesn’t make money they give up.

Most successful blogs have been around for two years or more. And when you speak to these bloggers it’s taken them that time to get traffic and a huge readership. They did not start over night as a success.

In fact when you talk to people like Darren Rowse at Problogger, he will tell you that he started his blog as a hobby. He also says that you shouldn’t build a blog to make money initially, but as a hobby. If you are expecting to make money, you are going to be disappointed.

I’m not saying you can’t make money on a blog. But the odds are against you. It’s a constant battle of promoting your blog, and getting traffic to it. That and having highly valuable content. If your blog is just filled with google adsense, and ads, but no real content, you may get the traffic, but they won’t come back.

To make money from a blog, you need to build foundation articles; reasons that people want to come to your blog. You add a value that they need, you give your readers hope. You provide them with something they are looking for.

Some bloggers say having pillar articles aren’t important, but I differ. I think it’s important to build a blog with a few strong articles. Hopefully these articles will create some link backs with other sites. Bigger bloggers might see your article and want to put it on their site. By doing this, they will give you a lot more traffic, and a market of readers you might not have gotten.

Another great way to get more traffic is to network. Join forums, groups, comment on other blogs with similar subjects. The more you publish your url on sites, the more linkbacks you create, the more you are increasing your page rank.

I think submitting your link on popular blogs via comments is a great way to go. Even if they have no follows. (No follow means your link is not a trusted source and google won’t trust that link back, which doesn’t help your page rank. Some blogs do have follow, which means when you link to them, your link is treated as a trusted source and helps your page rank.) Why I think commenting on no follow blogs is a good thing, because if 3,000 people are reading that blog article, that’s 3,000 people reading your comment. And lo and behold, you are getting traffic you might not have originally gotten.

Some people actually try to be one of the first comments by a popular blog author, that way everyone who reads that article and wants to comment on it, is going to see that first comment. And the important thing is, to actually read the post you are commenting on, and offer something on value. If your comment is generic and dull, you might not get the traffic you would if your comment added value, or was interesting. The odds that people are going to click on your link are increased when you appear intelligent and informed.

Writing an article and submitting them in free article databases is another great way to get yourself out there. Write 3 or 4, 300-500 word articles and submit them to as many free sites as you can. Just be careful to make your article informative and not a sales letter. If it’s nothing but promotion, your article might be rejected. Also keep in mind when submitting articles, it takes them a bit of time to be published.

Well that’s a few ways to get you started on making money. Remember to never give up, and at least once a day concentrate on promoting your blog. Submit links to everything you can, and always blog. The more blog posts you have, the more important google is going to think you are. How do you think some of the popular blogs got that way? They offer pages and pages of content. For you to build a readership, you need to do the same.

I am on holiday in the Canary isles at the moment. The weather here makes a change from the UK where there were high winds and cold draughts when I left. Its great to have a bit of winter sun. Sure if you live in California, you must be used to ok weather most of the year but for those of us shivering in Britain, a trip to warmer climes is a must on the run up to xmas!

Before I left, I had been experimenting with PPC (pay per click) on one of my other blogs. Now, that is a steep learning curve but if you are sending money, it does tend to concentrate your mind. I wish I had tried it earlier, because I have learned a lot over the past few weeks.I havent made any money, in fact quite the reverse but I am confident that if i plug away at it, it will start to work. There are some many facets to it,and youhave to be really careful not to let it run away with itself or it can get very expensive. More on that in later posts.

I dont know if you are thinking of blogging and monetizing your blog long term but it seems that is where money can be made and I intend to find out. Will report back on this in later blogs. Off to the pool now!

til later

I gave you some tips on how to make money from your blog a couple of days ago so here’s a few more

1. Hyperlink Keywords

This is a neat way of making some affiiate income and works in a similar way to banners. If you hyperlink a keyword or phrase within your blog post, to an affiliate page or sales letter, where a product is being promoted, then you may make some sales that way. If you can upload pictures and hyperlink those back to the product as well. Its more technical but as you learn more you will find it possible to do this.

Have a look at Clickbank or Commission Junction for affiliate products

2. Sell Advertising Space

This is a possibility if you have an established blog with good volumes of traffic but for the new blogger, its not going to be possible. It is something to look at when you get into that position though. This leads me on to number

3 Build a list

If you add an opt in or sign up form onto your pages in your blog, you can capture email names and addresses. You must give good content in return for that though. I have a short email course and will be giving a free ebook to my subscribers. My intention is to give videos, newsletters and as much free iinformation as I can, without breaching copyright!

Opt in pages can be set up though your autoresponder (again more on that later and it will be something I cover in my free ebook). They capture the email name and address and that list can be the start of a beautiful relationship. My intention is to build a list of like minded people, give them as much info as possible and if I find or build products that they might like, then all the better. The point of building a list is to have a targeted audience that might be willing to look at the products you recommend and buy them!

Anyway, a list is important. I would love you to join mine, have a look to the right of this page, or there is a separate page, called freebies that you might want to have a look at.

Til next time

You may have already set up your blog or thinking of starting one.Either way, these tips might help you concentrate on where you might make soem money. I havent got arounf to doing it on thsi blog, but on my other blog, I have found that a combination of these has helped. I havent used them on this blog because they do tend to clutter it and make it look more “markety” if there is such a word. I am trying to keep this blog tidy and its more an information blog as such.

So what can you look at?

Creating blog revenue is simply a matter of properly setting up your blog with various income producing products and programs, and then getting as many new and repeat visitors as possible to view your pages on a consistent basis.

So here are a couple of ways for you to begin generating a blog revenue.

1. Google Adsense is the most obvious way of making money. You will need to apply to Google for it first, just go to Google, click on the advertising programs link and follow the instructions. If you are using Wordpress, you can get plug-ins (more on this later) that will add adsense to a variety of locations on your blog, header, footer sidebars etc.

Adsense is the corollary to adwords. If someone clicks on an ad in your blog, then you will get a few cents or even dollars depending on the niche. It can mount up

2 Banners

These are are great way of adding colour to your blog, but it can make it look cluttered so be circumspect. Banners are associated with various affiliate programmes and are free. Ensure that the affiliate programme fits in with your blog niche. No point having a blog about guitars and having banners advertising gardening!

You join the affiilate programme, see clickbank for these, and get an ID code which is inserted in the banners you are given. When someone clicks on the banner, then buys the product, you get a commission.

Of the 2, there is only the one step in the adsense process, someone clicks, you get money. With banners they have to purchase the product as well and that is a harder process but the rewards can be greater.

More tips next time

I have written about blogging and taking action over the last couple of days, but what is a blog in reality? You may not even know what one is. If I am speaking to the converted, many apologies but I realised yesterday that not everyone knows what a blog is. There is a theory that as you learn things, you forget how to relate to the basics ( something a lot of the gurus are guilty of in my humble opinion) and I have just thought how true that is. I have rattled on about taking action, getting a blog up etc and lost sight of the fact that you might not even know what a blog is. I was speaking to a friend who is in her mid 30s, a lawyer so not exactly bright but even so I would have thought she knew what a blog was but she didnt!

A blog is simply a form of website. There are still many people who frequent blogs without realising it. Its not just any old website though, blogs are different but how?

1 Content. Blogs are usually updated more often than the traditonal website, some of them many times a day. In theory, this keeps people coming back more often. Content is normally arranged in reverse chronological order, with the most recent post at the top, the older ones at the bottom and the older ones still in archives.

2 Conversation. You will see that the style of a blog is different from other types of websites. They usually have a more conversational tone and a community feel. Whilst they provide information, they also want to communicate direectly with their readers and get replies in the form of comments (not that I get many, something I am working on,please feel free!) Blogs also communicate with each other and attract replies and responses

3 Syndication. Blogs can be read through a browser and in the form of a feed. All recent articles can be read by those people who have the appropriate software without visiting the site. I havent set this up on this site because I would like to think that people are visiting. Makes me feel less lonely!!

The best way to see what blogs are is to visit a few. If you google your chosen subject and add blog to the search term, you will turn up a few at least. See how they look and feel, what appeals to you, what sort of content they have and how often they are updated. Visit a few, read them regularly and you will start to appreciate what they are, and how they differ in style and approach.

Til next time
